Wheel advice

I wnat to upgrade my 18" wheels to 19" but want to stick with the standard tyre sizes (225 front and 255 rear) rather than go 235 and 255. My question is if I run these tyre sizes on 19" 8.5j rims front and rear will the car still handle the same as the staggered widths will still be the same? If I had to go to 235 on the front due to the 8.5j would the handling still be the same?

Hey nicks3,

the 255 will fit perfectly on 8,5J wheels. But i think you wil get a problem when using 8,5J with 225 tires. I would not recomment it. The tire will be streched on the wheel witch is not a good thing for the handling of your car.
Be smart and go for the 245-30-19 all around or 235-35-19.
