I have a Thule Ascent 1100 box I would like to mount on my 2019 X1. However, before I purchase the associated roof rack, I am concerned that with the noticeable curve to the roof that mounting a long cargo box (Ascent 1100 is 88in. and bar spread is restricted to 24in.) will have the box slightly or moderately pointing upwards, hence very little aerodynamics.

Anyone running longer cargo boxes like this? I believe a more current version is the Thule Pulse Alpine.
