Passenger side mirror no moving.....?
For some reason the passenger side mirror on my "new to me" 07' 335i hasn't worked since I got the car. I can't adjust the mirror, and it won't fold in either...nothing. I've done a little research on the forums, and checked fuse #21 and #27.....both are good.
Any other ideas before I start diving in deeper and pulling the mirror all apart? Hopefully it's something easy that I'm just missing? |

Is the mirror adjustment switch set to the left (driver side) or right (passenger side)?

Well, at this point I'm thinking there might be a connector unplugged somewhere. Is there a plug in the mirror housing, or it it somewhere inside the door? Since I'm not getting any movement at all from the passenger side mirror.....
Any other ideas?

Not sure if you may be aware but these cars are plagued by these mirrors unfolding past their stop point. So a lot of guys cut the white wire (i believe) that disables the folding all together in order to avoid this issue. Root cause is that the stopper pin develops surface corrosion. When you fold the mirrors in, the pin is pushed up and doesn't come down during unfolding operation. At that point motor doesn't know when to stop and keeps going past its normal stop point. This could be your issue if the previous owner simply cut a few wires while trying to figure out which one was dedicated to the folding operation. It's worth a look see.
