BMW 330xi Radio problem, swapped professional radios NOW NO SOUND

Hello I just bought a 2006 BMW330XI. The pixels on the professional radio are basically all gone. The aux works the radio works. I was doing some service on the car at the old shop I used to work at and their happened to be a junk 2009 328I with a professional radio. I was given the opportunity to have this radio for free, so I pulled it out of the 2009 and plugged it into my 2006. It powered up and functioned but NO SOUND. Upon further inspection I realized the new radio had XM radio and an extra plug on the back. I know you can code these to work but I just want a working radio doesn’t matter to me. So I unplugged it and plugged the original WORKING Radio back in…..and it powers on but has no sound. I checked the fuses, disconnected the battery for 15 minutes. I ended up purchasing a used professional radio with a good screen with the same P/N. I figured it would be plug and play but now my original unit doesn’t work. ANY IDEAS why these happened? I attached a picture of the original radio P/N

When you swap a Radio it must be programed for your sound
system and options.
US 06 330's come with Logic 7 .
The new Radio Must have the Fiber optic connector to work in a Most
Bus based system.

Logic 7

To code the Radio yourself get the Bimmergeeks.net cable and downloads.
To become familiar with coding go to the coding sub forum.
You need to VO Code the Radio to the factory settings contained in the CAS/FRM
module.

I decided I am not gonna use the newer radio.

Even if I am gonna swap the same unit with the same P/N, does it have to be programmed?

Unless it came from a car with exactly the same options it
will need to be programmed.
