Powerflex Camber Adjustable Bushings

Anyone have experience with the Powerflex Camber Adjustable Bushings? How is the Camber Adjustment done and how are they compared with the Superpros and are they too harsh for the road?

How is camber adjusted: It's an eccentric bush.

SuperPro have pulled their eccentric camber bush from the market. It's known to fail as the suspension geometry of the F2x/F3x doesn't work well with PU materials.

I wouldn't bother.

Where can you read that it doesn't work well for the F3x?

Many people have read that they are wearing them and they seem to be happy, I also wanted to ride them.

Any more opinions?

Straight from the horse's mouth?

SuperPro are an Aussie company. I correspond with Graham (SuperPro CEO) on a regular basis ever since he personally delivered replacement lower control and upper control arms and oversaw their installation on my car (prototypes for their full LCA/UCA kit that is still waiting manufacturing).

They were replacements for the eccentric camber bush that failed prematurely. Graham said they've pulled it from the Australian website for the reasons I've already explained, although I can't speak for overseas as apparently they are still being sold by the U.K. arm.

Read here:
https://www.babybmw.net/forum/viewto...erPro#p1442189

And here:
https://www.babybmw.net/forum/viewto...?f=74&t=113752

Note that SPF4303K (the relevant SuperPro part number for F20 and F30 cars) no longer exists on the Australian SuperPro website. Again, for the reasons I've already stated above.

You saying both Powerflex and Superpro camber adjustable bushings are both not worth the time? Or just Superpro?

I wouldn't use a PU bush, period.

Go monoball like Turner or KMAC. Even the F80 arms use a solid ball joint.

You can also get camber plates. A bunch of users are using the Millway camber plates with good results

I have them, you get about 1.5 negative camber best case. They are not to hash, I can't tell them from factory.

Looking at Turner Monoball, the strut they include with it looks weak compared to the solid stock Lemforder strut.

You can also consider KMAC Monoball (no strut/arm included):

https://k-mac-camber-kits.com/produc...ive-193916-7j/

This has also been suggested by Farkle! and Andino who have used it on the track with great results. I'll be doing this upgrade myself in the next month or so. No more lifeless, slow and dead steering.

The tension strut monoball is just for caster. It does wake up the steering a lot though! Farkie is running the KMAC Camber adjustable LCA bushing as well with solid results on track. I have superpro camber bushings and they'll be coming out in the very near future due to the bushing failing. Would not recommend the superpro camber bushing for the LCA right now.

Do you mean this?

Can I run it in conjunction with the caster tension strut monoball?

Yup that's the LCA bushing I'm referring to. I'm running the monoball caster bushing from KMAC along with the Superpro Camber bushing on the LCA. But I would recommend KMAC's bushing for both camber and caster. FaRKle! is running both with a lot of track time and both are holding up very well.

No problems here they are just poly bushings with an eccentric sleeve. Like other have posted there are a few ways to skin this cat of camber in the front and I picked the option at the time that seemed most reasonable. Camber plates and M3 k arms might also be great options as well. I might get some camber plate in the end but getting the springs of the M perf suspension is a royal pain in the butt so I am not motivated to pull it all apart again. I can easily get faster times out of driver mods.

I've had SuperPro camber-adjustable bushes in my F30 pre-LCI for ~20K miles. The car was at my suspension shop recently - fully inspected and no wear found/reported on these bushes.

As the Millway camber plates have a big range of adjustment I will swap the camber-adjustable bushes for solid poly at some point. Seems like little point in doing it until/if they start to wear.
