Just picked up a new g20 and had it for 2 days. Got in the car today and the mirrors didn’t unfold when I unlocked the car. None of the electrics on the driver side are working (mirrors, windows, child lock for windows) but the lock and unlock are fine next to the door handle.

Anybody else had any issues like this?

Sounds like one or multiple blown fuses. Which rarely happens. I would contact the dealer and have them check it out.

Going to try and get it in tomorrow or in the week. Hoping it’ll be a pretty easy fix. Seen a video on YouTube on an older bmw with the same issue. Just replaced the small unit the harness connects on to underneath it!

Took it to the dealership and they said that it was the master window switch. Replaced and still didn’t work. Tried a control board which took over a week to arrive and that didn’t work. Ended up being the driver side wing mirror and the electrics going to it also. Took nearly 3 weeks to sort out of the 4 weeks of having the car.

All working ok so far since!

Aha - ok. Do you have the "Drive recorder" function? Was that unavailable before the mirrorelectronics was fixed?
