Maps and software upgrades

Hello everyone.
Please advise.
1. how to upgrade tickets from usb?
- with the engine running
- with the ignition ON
Is about 6 minutes enough to upgrade?
2. The same question for software upgrades.
Thank you for your answers.

See my new post 30-9-2019 about an update to Version EUROPE Way 2019-4 that may be available to you (Croatia being an EU country) for download and installation via USB.
I would certainly say that, in view of the size of the download (14.58GB), 6 minutes would not be long enough to download the upgrade unless you have extremely fast download speeds on your computer. In addition you would need to transfer it to a USB stick, which you then insert into the car USB socket in the compartment between the front seats and turn on ignition for the update to be applied.

Thanks for the reply.
I thought about 6 minutes until the car was switched off when only the ignition and not the personal computer was on.
So I need to start the car to work, not just contact.
-Do you upgrade the software with your car on or just a contact? (UPD11024.bin)
Greeting.

No. Apologies if my response was not sufficiently clear, but when you put the usb stick into the car socket, you only need to turn on the ignition for the update to complete (approx 10 to 15 minutes). You can, if you prefer follow the same procedure and drive away whilst the update completes.
