How does everyone

How does everyone remove the 1 time use crimp click clamps? I want be gentle as the hoses and stuff are and get brittle.

I’ve heard of a dremel, screw driver etc.

The clamp on the very bottom the coolant vent hose one not the upper rad hose

Dremel and carbon fibre cutoff wheel. Someone once told me that this hose had a one-time pinch / clamp on them (someone will correct me with the right terminology on this) that you could cut with side cutters, but mine didn't have this style band. Mine was completely flat the whole way round, like it was magically assembled by elves, so I took the Dremel to it. If you go this route and are looking to save your hose make sure you go slow and check you cut often.

If you are replacing the vent hose, the cut it off just above the small hose bib. This reduces any torque on the bib from the long hose and gives better access to the area. I then held the small hose bib (with the cut hose end) with pliers, then took a small electronics flat blade screwdriver and pried just a bit on the extended part of the crimped band where it latches on the clips. It should easily pop off the latch (catch) and open up. Then gently twist the old hose end off.
