Exclamation Reverse lights out. Any inputs?

Hey guys,

Been sifting through some issues with my E90. After a bunch of retrofits, coding and maintenance. Its finally time i fix my god damn rear lights

What ive done so far:

checked CC-ID and its throwing ID 115 and 117 (Left and right rev light)

scanned with inpa and i get the relevant codes 9CC3 and 9CC4

checked the FRM modules short circuit monitor with TOOL32 and they all report 0 (did try to reset them aswell but nothing changed)

I inspected the lamps along with lamp holders and verified they light up with external PSU.

Am i just beeing plain stupid here and overlooking the simplest thing?
i can not get them back on, I suspect a wire has corroded or an open loop since both left and right went out at the same time.

Winter is coming fast here in norway and reversing without any lights is not fun :S

Any input is appreciated

If you have INPA, connect to FRM and get Code DEFINITIONS & Details and post here (preferably a jpg of ScreenPrint of INPA screen). Also be aware that you can use INPA to test for necessary INPUT to FRM for Reversing Light Switch if MT or K-CAN Signal if Automatic. INPA also allows activation of lights (Lampen) in FRM F6 Activations Function. So you can test BOTH the Input to FRM and Output wiring, bulb socket, bulb. Simple TIS circuit:

Check the trunk wiring in the boot from the body to the trunk. Wires commonly break there. There's an aftermarket replacement harness if you want the most durable fix or you can reconnect the individual broken wires for the cheapest fix.

BMW E90 facelift: Any idea if the following are connected as they suddenly stop working all together:

reversing light right failure
fog light front right failure
fog light rear right failure

You'll need a multimeter, and a wiring diagram. Could be a voltage or ground issue.

Newtis.com for wiring.

Youtube for troubleshooting.

Update. After some probing around and checking wires. It turned out to be a bunch of things. The thing that made me suspect it not beeing the bulbs was both going out at the same time. I found about 5 bad wires in the rubber cable loom connecting the boot to the car. after soldering in new wires the lights still didnt work.. After checking the bulbs they looked fine. But did not messure anything aka open loop. So after replacing them aswell. we got lights working
