E90 CCC unit to Android CIC

Hello,

has anyone done such conversion that replaced stock CCC unit with android CIC unit?

As I was looking through Ebay, Amazon, AliExpress.. and noticed android screens and was wondering if I was to do such an upgrade why not completely upgrade, but has anyone ever done it?

Cost and difficulty of installing and programming are all
factors.
Most of the stuff that works with the existing hardware piggybacks
of the existing system and feeds audio through the aux .
Which is a low fi Input.

Upgrades to the latest factory Nav's are offered by bimmeretrofits
and bimmertech . They are kind of expensive and install is not very
easy. At least last time I looked.
people do upgrade within the e9x model range if they can find used
hardware mostly.

There is a stereo and idrive subforum here where the Avin and Eonon
adapters and Head Units are discussed as well as NBT evo.

Prepare to spend $3,000 on a real NBT Evo retrofit and about a month of pulling your hair out to install it. Once it is dialed in it is so amazing to use.

I have CIC that does not come with Combox, which means no bluetooth music stream...

I am going to upgrade to Android HU soon just like you are.
There are plenty of posts about the Android HU in the audio in https://www.e90post.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=27
