Hi all, this is Beygan, coming in with a question.

I've come to notice that cars made after 2011 have been proceeded with a newer ECU, and configurations may have changed onwards.

What else has changed from N54 to N55 besides the transition from MSD81 to MEV?

Have the JBE, CAS, or any other things changed?

Reason for asking:

Conducting DCT swap.
Parts purchased, but work paused.
Thought MSD81 was required.
Learned that E88 2011-2013 run MEVD1726
with N55
with DCT
(Correct me if I'm wrong)
Needing more information in order to continue (seems like this is uncharted territory)

Current car: 2011 E90 N55 (without MSD81)

Can anyone contribute?

Thanks in advance!
