Driver Side Dash/Door Electrical Short Sound No Codes

Hey Everyone,

I have an e90 335D and I have an electrical short I can hear either in the front left dash or somewhere in the door. I can hear it clicking/buzzing away (higher frequency) over rough road's and there are no codes or problems yet to speak of. I'm guessing a wire has rubbed away its exterior somewhere and is grounding intermittently.

Has anyone heard of or know of any spots I should start checking before I start opening things up? Would prefer to take apart as little as possible and wanted to check here first.

I was going to check the door jamb wire harness first by unplugging it and looking into the rubber boot as that seems to be the easiest step.

Thanks,
