Lease pricing ok?
Hey everyone,
I was wondering if the deal I got was good? I'm sure it could be better but is the monthly rate wrong given these values? - 2020 x5 m50i; 36mo/ 15k miles - MSRP with dest 96,445 - Selling price 90,177 (6.5%) - Taxes: 7,449; zip 60565; suburban chicago - Doc fee 180, electronic filing 25, license 101, limited interior 399 (unsure if worth it, plan to have kids hopefully in the next 3 years; i have extended merino leather) - Final 97,626 - MF 00128 - Resid 53% - 0$ money down - discounts/rebates applied at pickup (bmw na discount will be applied too). MF/resid can change too depending on which is better at pick up. - maximum MSDs: 10,150 - Monthly with tax: 1416. I checked on lease hacker and it comes up less, so I'm not sure where the disprepency lies (its 1353). How accurate is leasehacker? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. thanks! |

the leasehackr calculator is really good but there can be discrepancies with dealerships based on numbers being used. I've found it's perfectly normal to be $10-$15 off between what you're seeing on the calculator vs. what the dealership is providing you.
That being said, in your case, $63 difference is enough to warrant a second look and seeing if the dealership can provide you with a full breakdown. Other than that, I would see if you can get more than a 6.5% discount off MSRP. Aim for 10% and be happy with anything between 8-10%. |
