Replacement Turbo/wastegate Warranty?

I had my turbos replaced in 2017 at the tail end of the 8 year 82k mile warranty for my car, and now they are rattling again. When I was in for the injector extended warranty, one service rep mentioned something about the replacement turbos having a 2 year warranty. I took one of the techs for a ride but they said it wasn't loud enough to justify replacement (its also very subjective to traffic noise and proximity to walls, parked cars, etc and it seemed much quieter than normal). I should have just found a parking garage nearby.

I asked another dealer about possible replacement they said there was no such warranty on the replacement turbos. Has anyone heard of any such warranty on the replacement turbos?

Thanks

There would be no parts warranty on those turbos. A parts warranty situation only would come up if you paid for the turbos yourself. If warranty paid for them they hold no further warranty.

That makes sense and explains the possible confusion from the first service rep, thank you
