Ginetta G40 GRDC - user friendly?

Going to do some track time in the near future and been offered the choice of a Caterham 7 Roadsport or Ginetta G40 GRDC. Having driven Caterhams, both regular and the 'wide body' SV at Donnington Park (Drift School), I really struggled to get my feet on the pedals of the Caterham even though my feet are only size 9½, so have plumped for the Ginetta.

Is it slightly more user friendly? At least in the pedal box department?

Ginetta is also a small car. Shorter wheelbase than a Caterham so I'm not sure it will be much better.

You shouldn't have a problem with size 9 1/2 feet, it's probably more the shoes. Get some racing boots or even plimsoles perhaps?

I've not driven the Ginetta, but as a more modern car I'd expect the footwell to be a better size. Be nice to do something different too I'd have thought?

Yeah on the drift school a couple of the guys had to drive in socks or bare feet! Thinking about plimsoles, I've got a pair of deck shoes which should be similar.

Fingers crossed! Going with my other half's brother and his two sons all of whom are ultra competitive. He bought himself some anniversary edition Caterham a short while back so the Ginetta should be a bit different seeing as I'm gonna get thrashed anyway.
