30bb code N54

Hey guys I have an 07 e90 335i. I did full bolt ons for stage 2+. Drove fine. After I put the MHD stage 2+ map for 93 oct, I test drove around for a few minutes. The second I went for a WOT pull the car started misfiring crazy and the whole car was shaking. Barely limped home. Codes read 30bb (internal DME malfunction or injector malfunction) with misfire on cylinders 4,5, and 6. Anyone had this problem or found a solution? Maybe plugs, coils? Thanks

Your error code signifies internal DME error, not injector failure

Most likely MOSFET failure in the DME. Actually quite common in the MSD80 DME in your MY 2009 335. They can be replaced very inexpensively. Google MOSFET replacement

Just fixed mine yesterday. $15 in parts, about an hour in labor to replace the FETs. Now runs good as new!
