BMW 2008 328xi performance mods

I own a 2008 328xi with 173,000 Miles. I'm looking into doing these performance mods. You can guys let me now if this will work or If I'm missing anything

AFE Cold Air Intake- +12HP
Stage 3 Intake Manifold- +20HP
Turner N52 Performance Tune +19 HP

all this will cost about 1,500$ but my car will be pushing close to 300hp

$1500 for 51 horsepower isn't worth it in my opinion, but its your car

If you really wanna spend that much for that much hp, then there's also AA headers and exhaust

1st I really doubt you can reach 51 bhp with those mods.
But let say this its reachable, 1500$ for 51bhp over 231hp on a n/a setup, is very good imo.

I put as much on the turbo audi to get only 65bhp/100tq more

AFE CAI does not give you 12HP. If you have the open air intake than what you are essentially doing is sucking in hot air from the engine bay. If anything you are losing HP. The stock box is already a CAI. If anything you would have been better off going with the BMW Eurobox intake.

3 Stage is useless without a tune.. With a tune it will probably net you 15 to 20hp tops. At most you are looking at 245/250hp crank hp, tops.

The power does not add directly like that. In reality, without headers, you're capped at about 230 to the wheels with a 2wd drive car. 4wd that means 220ish which is about 265 at the crankshaft.

The intake gives you some noise.
The tune and 3-stage go hand in hand and give some results.
Headers add 10-15 on top of everything else.

Pretty hard to get above 240-245whp on the N52 which is somewhere around 285 hp at the crank.

Check out the NA dyno thread. Lots of real-world results in there. Certainly worth doing if you're handy, in to cars and want to have fun. It will be more torquey with the 3-stage, which is nice!

There isn't a whole lot you can do. Love what you have and sort out out the suspension and keep the car in tip top shape maintenance wise
