Service reminder
My X2 has 8000 miles and the service reminder nanny has been prodding me for service for the last 500 miles....and the car is not due until 10,000 miles.
Anyhow, anyone know how to turn down the service reminder to 1000 miles or less? Its about as annoying to see as the Nav disclaimer!

Service reminders are miles or time-based.
I took mine in for service at 1 year with about 6k on the odometer as that was when service was due. If you service reminder is on at 8k, i'd assume your x2 is at the 1 year mark? |

Non dealer euro shops recommend 5k for performance engines, I am having mine done that way, I’ll let the dealer do every other one. May not be as big a deal on the non m sport but turbos get hot and break down oil quicker. I figured another $100 every 4-5 months don’t hurt for the future life of the engine.
I didn’t lease though, with a car you ain’t buying, it’s not important. |
