The pads seems be ok based on board computer, could this be the warped rotor? How do I check that? What else should I check? Car has only about 27k miles, new tires replaced at around 20k miles. Thanks.

Usually means warped rotor or rotor is worn too thin.
I suspect warped rotor.

Maybe the shudder is from uneven buildup on the rotor.

Also, brake pad sensors are only on one side of the car. Pulling the wheels off and doing a visual inspection of all your pads and rotors might be a good idea.

Only on one side of the car, and only on the inside pad. Regular visual inspection of all eight pads is a must.
