You dont have to, but adding the 275 for the rears will induce a slight bit more understeer, if you are okay with that...then by all means, keep the fronts the same
(its not a huge problem)

275 looks good in back, adds a bit of rubber, if you look at member fotios on here, he has 275 in the back on a 335 sedan (morr vs8's)...looks great if you ask me
I would be adding the 275 to the rears on my e92 if it didnt mean rolling the fenders on my leased car (I would however, also like to add 245 to the front if I did that...dont want more understeer)

I have breyton race gts on my E90. 275/30 in rear and 235/35 in the front. Great balance. I dont notice any understeer particularly. 275s, seems to me, add more of grip.

You would only notice the understeer if pushing the car at the limit into a turn. For street driving it should be a non-issue. At the track you would want to balance it out a little more.

I have 275's in the rear with a 235 front. I love the way it handles. personally I think when you go 245 in the front the profile looks to high and bubbly.

Do you have the fenders rolled? Are you running springs? Seems like a nice setup, put a link to your pics!

Hey Emjei,
if you realy want the 275-30-19 i would go for 235-35-19 on the front! Like Vudoo4u2 already sad you wil get even more understeer. If you want the best handling for your car stick with 225 front and 255 rear. There is even 1 more problem choosing the 275, they wil decrease the acceleration of your bimmer! Greets Faf |

Ok,
i now what you mean! But it is not nessesary to take wight tires to prevent your wheels from damage! Take a tire tire with wheelprotection system, many manufactures make them! Greetings Faf |

I have 275 in the rear and 245 in the front.. if I were to do it again I'd go 235 in the front just to overemphasis the size of the rear wheels. After all.... how many times are you REALLY going to test the understeer detriment? Most of us don't drive the car on a track every day... we buy the wheels for looks.
