Anyway to get my steering to move?

Hi everyone. Back again.

My 06 330i is dead in my garage the battery is shot and I haven’t went and got a new one yet but in the mean time I would like to move it over a little to the right in my garage.

I manually put it in nuetral it’s an auto but the steering is locked. Anyway I can manually move the wheels or anything to get it moved?

Unfortunately no. the ELV requires power to unlock the steering. Otherwise the ELV failure wouldn't be such a huge PITA..

Try putting it on a charger the the charge points are
under in the Engine Bay.

Battery charger +

or grab another battery and set it on the engine then use jumper cables. With the jumpers attached, you can turn the wheel and move the car around (without having to worry about the cord from a battery charger)

I like this idea but my battery is co portly our of the car and completly shot.
