Lower BMW 328d x-drive?

Just bought a 2016 328d X-drive (M Sport) with standard suspension. Wanting to put 19'' wheels and drop some of the wheel gap. I use this car as a daily driver. I live in Idaho so we can have bad winters. Whats the best option to reduce wheel gap, maintain enough clearance for speed bumps / snow and not ruin the ride?

I know this has been asked a few times on here and I have read a lot. Are KW Street Comforts the best option? Can shocks / springs compare?

Unless by some miracle you don't get potholes in Idaho you should reconsider 19s for winter use.

We do have potholes. I would have 18's in reserve for winter.

Dropped my xdrive and reduced the reverse rake by installing Eibach spring kit (-06 in the part number) Drops the front 0.8" and rear 0.6". Only 10% stiffer so doesn't wreck the ride.

You can also reduce the appearance of wheel gap by switching to a higher sidewall tire size. In 18" wheels with stock 225/45-18 size that could mean going to 235/45-18 or 245/45-18. You'll have to do the research for 19" sizes.

Ok I think I've decided on eibach springs and bilstein B8's. I think I want to go with the RWD springs as they are a lower drop. I am having trouble figuring out part numbers. Do I need to buy these things separately or is there a B12 kit I can buy?

Eibach spring kits have a -06 in the middle of the part number for the xdrive version and a -05 for the rwd version. I've seen a Bilstein/Eibach kit but don't recall the details.

I know the rwd part number -05 but I keep finding this part number E10-20-031-02-22

Not sure the difference between -05 and -02 part numbers. Don't have time to look right now

Isn’t the first number (235/245) the width?
The second number is the aspect ratio which would be a “taller” tire

That's because E10-20-031-06-22 and E10-20-031-05-22 are both 335/340 xDrive kits. E10-20-031-02-22 is the only kit they recommend for 335/340 RWD. The xDrive kits' front and rear springs are stiffer than the RWD kit.

Eibach does not list a Pro Kit for the 2016 328dX but Eibach does have a listing for an F30 320dX (which uses the same N47D20C engine).
