So, in my last thread, I mentioned I was test driving the new G20 M340xi and decided to buy it.

Guess what, I have placed my order yesterday Aug 22nd.
Base $61850
MG Metallic Paint $895
Premium Excellence $8500
Adaptive M Suspension $600
Oak Grain Trim $0
Black Grille $250
Black Mirror Cap $0
Black 791M Wheel $500
Full Merino Black $1900 with Premium Excellence

Basically I ticked all the boxes except smoke pkg and track pkg (better oil cooler and 374mm front rotors). Dealer was trying to trick(or they didn't know either? doubt it.) me that I have to pay for $950 track pkg if I want 791M black wheel. I emailed the product planning manager in the Canada HQ to get the answer that I don't need to.

After July, BMW Canada offers new pkg.
ZGW M Enhanced Track Pkg
4U0 Galvanic Controls
6DR BMW Drive Recorder
Individual Full or Extended Merino Leather
3 individual Trims that I don't know of.

Also the Premium Excellence pkg goes up from 8300 to 8500. Dealer told me that 4U0 Galvanic Controls and Drive Recorder are included in the pkg.

When I saw I can get merino, I jumped aboard immeaditely. Vernasca is just another name for Dakota. It feels so cheap!

I was deciding on which merino to get. Either Red/black, Blue/black or just black. I ruled out red first because I already lived with coral red on my current 435i for 4 years. I am getting tired. Then the blue seems weird on the lower dash and rear seats. A bit less weird on the door. If they have the dash in black and rear seats in black/blue combo like the front seats, I would order blue. Therefore, I went for full black.

Dealer told me they got me in for September allocation, ETA for delivery is late Oct to early Nov. Hope I can get it before it starts to snow here in Toronto.

You will have to ask your sale rep or bmw usa as i am in Canada. But i am sure USA can get it too. US always get more good thing than Canada. Aka RWD M340i!! I want it rwd so bad but bmw canada won't let me

i got 11% off MSRP including dealer discount, loyalty and fleet discount. But I trade in my good condition 435, which dealer can make at least 5000 by selling as cpo.

Nice! Sounds like our M340s might start build at the same time. Mine is due to start Sept 1st.

Also trading in my 340. Hoping to get $15k equity, but decided to go back to leasing so only putting down $2500. The M340 build was MSRP of around $65k, but got it for a couple grand under invoice.

Yep, Colorado.

In three years I'll be pulling the trigger on my first M3, assuming xDrive is available. They better still be building those in Germany. Need to cross Euro Delivery off my bucket list!

@stvding Excellent topped notched build! Congrats! Just curious, why oak interior trim, compared to other interior trim?

Are you considering any M-performance parts accessories? Carbon Fibre Spoiler, diffuser etc...

Also why not Brown Tartufo or Ivory white interior for Merino leather?

Oak because I like it personally amount other trims that BMW offers for G20. My current f32 has aluminum trim which I hate. I wrapped them in CF.

I probably not going to buy any m performance parts. Except for maybe 330i style vertical old style black grille.

I really don't like Brown, seems old man to me. Also white is too bright for me.

I see looks different from the CF trim.

Glad I am not the only other person that feels that the brown is old colour. Good choice build!

Hope you can post photos when you get it!
