Beautiful car - congratulations!

You can put the shovel away now, it's not going to snow anymore.

Hey LEDZEP, I actually don't have any idea where those mounting plates came from, but when I took a closer look it seems that mine must have been custom made also. Nice job with yours.

Thanks Dinger. I figured the builder might have put them on and you wouldn't know, but thought I'd ask. We have a carpenter in the family that made those for me, so I can't take the credit... but it was my idea, so maybe I get credit for that..

We now return this thread to car talk and congratulatory remarks for Dinger's new baby...

I bought some pre-made from lowe's. I actually cut off the lip for siding as my house is brick. My builder put lights on my house that didnt quite cover up the electrical box. So you use to be able to see the bright blue electrical box, yuck...

Check lowe's or your local home improvment store. You might have to ask for help. The ones I found were by mistake. They were on clearance on a rack in the middle of an isle. The ones I purchased are not wood, some kind of other material. Textured like wood on the front...

Back on topic, nice choice!
