Help with zero boost
Hi all...so my 07 335 is new to me. Since I have had it, I get the half CEL while under boost at about 4k in 3rd. Light is gone when car is shut off so I pulled codes while the light was on and of course got 30ff. Today I logged it, and I am getting zero boost. Never gets out of the negatives. If it helps, I have no wastegate rattle, no rough idle, and the car starts up like a brand new car.
I did a smoke test about 2 weeks ago and found some nasty leaks, including a huge one at the intercooler hose and some smaller ones here and there. I am hoping that its still some vacuum leaks I didn't find. Is there any chance that they guy just ran with wastegate rattle and that it finally just seized up or broke off or some crap which is why I am not hearing it? Any advice or tips or greatly welcomed. Yeah...I’d say this is an issue with the function on the turbos rather than a leak. Have you confirm that you’re getting vacuum to the wastegates?
