X-drive midpipe
Is AWE the only midpipe that fits an xdrive? Looks like it doesnt have a resonator on it. Are there any with resonators?

Really no benefit in buying midpipes, unless it's the split and remerge type like Akra. Remove the resonator on your oe midpipe for the same effect, or leave it (which is far better for drone)

I test fit one and while it does fit, it does not line up properly with the MPE or stock exhaust. Learned that the hard way and had to send it back. Went with a res delete on my stock OEM pipes..

The AWE midpipe was not lining up properly, the angle was way off and the only way to make that work would have been to weld.
As far as any other midpipes - I'm not sure why they say they are from RWD only (Dinan for example) but I haven't had any experience with them. The only thing I know is that if you want the AWE midpipe, you're probably best getting the muffler as well. |
