recommendation for v-kool tint

Did anyone try the v-kool tint on their current of previous cars? is it any good? if so, how much did you pay?

I live in Dubai where tempreature could reach 40C+ (100F+). I have the roller sunblind on the rear window of my e90 but do not think this is enough. Furthermore, I prefer good outward visibility all the time and would consider a tint that is 60-50% range if the v-kool is not that cool (practical)!

Thanks.

Yes, my tint is from V-kool.
I live in Indonesia and it protects the sun quite well.
I forgot the % of my tint. From outside, you barely see inside.
Please see my garage and you will see it.

I paid almost $300 for tinting all windows.(Front windsheild was clear coating)
Hopefully, it will help you.

thanks dankim;

I am considering the v-kool 70 tint which is a very light tint but was wondering if it really works in hot sunny countries.

btw, nice 325!

I have no exp w/ V-kool. but you may want to go with something a little darker than 60%. Even 35% will give you really good outer visibility as well as keep the sun out.

OT: I was just in Dubai a few weeks ago. I went to Ski Dubai but was dissapointed to find out you cant ski on their slope without taking at least 5 lessons from them. That country is amazing.

super super bump on this thread!

yah i have v-kool tint on my E90, 70% on the sides, makes good visibility, and it does protects the car from sun and heat

now when i use a car without v-kool, i really feel the difference
