Running a Wire From the Trunk Into the Car?
I have a 2007 328xi, I am trying to run a wire from my subwoofer in my trunk up to the front of the car so I can control the amount of bass. The problem, is that I can not figure out how to run the wire without having to take the back half of the car apart. Once I get it into the cabin of the car, I won't have an issue running it to the front, but the trunk and cabin seem to be fairly sealed off from each other. If anyone has any ideas, please let me know! I would prefer not to do anything that would require taking seatbelts off, or anything crazy like that. Thanks!

Lift up the rear seat bottoms, run it along/under the door sill plastic and up to the front.

Having the right tool for a job is essential. When I did car audio, I used this guy....a lot.
Attach wire, then push and pull through whatever creases are available. Saves a lot of time removing trim pieces and getting through spots of bother. I also recommend using a bit of electrical tape to ensure that the cable doesn't come lose from this thing. Hope this helps. |
