M Badge Peel?
Picked up my car yesterday and when I got home after doing a more in-depth walk around I noticed the badging on the rear has a slight peel to it like it was caught by a wash cloth or something. On my M3 I'm pretty sure its colored metal for the badging and not a cheap sticker like this. Anyone know what's up with this? Should I complain and get a new one? Pic below:

I would go get a new badge put on by the dealer and they shouldn't give you an trouble!

I'm going to get them to replace it. Are you guys really replacing your 'base' badge with a black 'comp' badge? Isn't that a little poser-ish? I guess at this stage you're not a poser if you're rolling an M5

Our suggestion is to go with the OEM F90 M5 Competition emblem. The competition portion is not connected so you can choose to not install it. The M5 is the same size as the factory chrome emblem.

Resurrecting this old thread. The front grill M stripe is peeling on my 2 month old comp. I was able to fix it for now with cyanoacrylate glue. I will get it replaced under warranty next time I bring the car in, which hopefully isn't until the 10k mile oil change.
It looks like you can't get the badge itself or the sticker but only the whole grill? I was thinking of acquiring a spare for the future when I'm out of warranty. I'd just like to point out the on my CTS-V it was a real badge..they did fade after 10 years of parking in the sun at work. |

Or not. Peeling everywhere and based on the dirt that was on the back of the sticker it's been like this for a while. The new de-badging trend starts here

My front badge M sticker also flew off when I washed it this weekend. Is it confirmed that you can only get the sticker with a new badge? I feel like I need a pack of these stickers to reapply ever so often.
