To be clear, this is the CP that goes from IC to turbo correct? Are these prone to failure as well similar to turbo to engine CP?

Correct--This is the CP that goes from the IC to turbo. More common to fail on a track use car. The hose collapses off pressure and expands under pressure.
If you're planning on swapping out your fmic, Mike at XPH recommends that we upgrade the piping. I've also heard that it helps the turbo boost delivery.
