It is safe but I wouldn't recommend it since there is no reason for it.

If you need to switch while driving at least do it in lower rpms when not going hard on the throttle.

I have done this multiple times with no issues.

Why you say that? Even the low boost maps are pretty fine...

? - No reason for it? Some people don't like running on the high boost map all the time and like the option of enabling it when needed at any time. It's a great feature and one of the reasons I upgraded to V3. When Shiv works out how to switch between valet, map 1, and map 2 on the fly, it will be that much better. I would never do the switch at WOT, I usually do it at idle.

I am not sure about the low boost map, but there is a noticable difference between the doomsday and nondoomsday maps (especially in mid range rpms).

Also being able to choose which maps are map1 and map2 would be benefitial in the long run. I would like to have the ability to pick which maps I use once a race gas map is released.

Switch "on the fly" if you forget to press the "ON" button on the remote after startup (and it defaults to the doomsday map); Shiv, when is that new map with the Map2 non-doomsday map default coming?
