Suddenly started getting pictured problem in the iOS app yesterday. Everything in remote access, including 3D view, has been working fine for around 4 weeks and core remote functions like locating has been working since delivery in mid May. Everything in INFO is fine and accurate, except that a bunch of remote services are now indicated as disabled (2nd pic).

No, no settings have changed, 100% of "privacy settings" are still turned on. All connected services in the car working fine. Tried logging out of app and back in, no effect. Deleting and re-installing app had no effect. I don't have time to waste calling "BMW Assist" and it is guaranteed they will have no viable idea of what just happened.

Anyone else?

And solved it for myself. Somehow, 1000% certainty it has nothing to do with me, my Remote Services became disabled in the CD portal. I turned them back on (check mark) and app started to work again.

Connected Drive and BMW iDrive software and systems groups once again proving themselves to be a bunch of incompetent idiots ...

Yesterday, I had the same issue with 3D view. Immediately after successfully executing 3D it goes to the Disabled Features. Did the same checking the data privacy in the car.

I don't know exactly how it got fixed by I rebooted iDrive, made sure services are still enabled and log out/in of CD app.

Well that's fun. But I'll observe from stated facts that your issue seems to likely have a different root cause than mine (see my 2nd post solution for myself).

Yup, different issue as I didn't have to go to the portal. I think for mine accessed remote services immediately go to Disabled (this category doesn't exist initially), perhaps the same feature can't be executed in succession.

Not sure if I saw this before.

For what it's worth, a consistent disabling of 3D view after executing a successful 3D view is not an MO I've heard anyone mention before. It is consistent and not coincidental, correct? If consistent, it certainly then does belong under the title of this thread as a "new idiocy".

My 3D view has never worked, all other features do work. I have contacted the BMW Genius group and their instructions were to make sure all boxes were checked, reboot the idrive and delete & reinstall the app but this did not work & they don’t know of anything else to do but go to the dealer.

I had the same issue start yesterday AM. Only resolved by reactivating remote services from the CD portal.

Thanks for spotting this and providing the fix.

The BMW CD service continues to behave like something the interns scrambled together in 6 weeks last summer.

My 3D view stopped working when the car updated with the new apps. I had to re-set that from inside the car, and I think I turned on the new apps at the same time.

So, for some reason, the remote view stopped working with the update, but all of the other features were unaffected.

This happens to me randomly as well. It goes away by itself, though. Such ridiculous bugs... BMW should be embarrassed.
