WOW, sorry to see this....
My guess, in TWO wheel drive mode? (car is deadly with traction control off). Mike

I am ok... Thank God... had kids in car and other than emotional pain and some cuts and bruises they are fine.... was doing about 70 and was completely dry till I rain into rain on a curved part of expressway and hit a water patch and I tapped brake instead, which I should not have done and car lost control... thanks for everyone's well wishes....

Glad to here everyone is ok!
Looks like it impacted ass first which is the best scenario one can hope for as it is the best for mitigating decel stress on the body; the trunk crumple zone is the best out of all your other options (front / side / offset / etc). One question. How many miles/km on the tires and approx how much tread was left? I find a lot of the performance tires (and even all seasons) have a marked drop off in water performance even when they still have a healthy 50% tread left. |

I had just under 11k miles on the clock.... I am assuming right at the half way mark on the tires... For that kind of impact the interior held up really well... Thank God...
