Brake pad wear - Vehicle Status
I remember this feature on my M235i, it gave an estimate for break pad mileage remaining, seemed to be accurate enough.
I can’t see this feature on the X3 ? |

It has dissapeared , yes. You will get a warning when close to change, that's all.

It was completely useless anyhow - based on no data except a mileage estimation which took into account no data or driving style. They should really place wear sensors at 25% intervals, but that will never happen.

I agree - it was useless! On my 2011 5'er -- they were famous (infamous?) for showing 3100 miles to go -- when there was plenty of thickness left. When I did the front/rear brakes and reset the sensors, after driiving about 5k miles, the front climbed from 31000 miles to 39000, while the rear dropped from 31k to 18k
