BMW X1 2017Airbag recall
Yesterday I bought a 2017 BMW X1 at my local BMW but I cant have it until they fix a airbag recall that cause them to explode in hot weather and they did not give me a time frame other then the end of july. So does anyone know when the fix should get done?

I think the BMW dealership must have lied to me because after posting this I looked it up and found nothing. According to the guy at the BMW dealership he said with very hot weather there is a chemical that leaks onto the airbag causing it to explode.

Looking at the sales figures from June (see News posts), it looks like there was a stop sale since they only moved 3 of the X1
