Service Inclusive Pack Price Change

Has anyone heard about this change from the current £399 for 3 years or 36k to a pay monthly plan?

Guys on X3 forum are saying £25 per month for 36 months, which is £900 for 2 services, surely that can’t be right?

Tony is telling me the £399 pack has finished today, but he also says the pack had to be bought within 60 days of first registration, but BMW site clearly states it can be purchased at any point before the cars first service:

Was reading the same on the babybmw forum...(albeit a cheaper monthly rate)

https://www.babybmw.net/viewtopic.php?f=74&t=121491

Not good value at all, particularly for three years, as getting a second service during that timeframe is slim

Garage List
I think it’s £25 a month over 18 months though can’t remember where I read that.

I got it "thrown in" but i knowing what i know now i wouldnt have paid for it.

My car had its first service after 15 months at at 21K miles... my car is now on 26K miles and it it still saying another 16K miles until my next service.

Although a guy at work paid for his - but complained to his dealer he was mis-sold it - as he only managed to get the first service - and his dealer gave him a "free" second service at 39K miles.

That's what I thought when I bought my X3 so I didn't bother with the pack, but it's now indicating the first service at 13K and second one at 27K, so it looks like the pack would save me £300 to £400!

The change as of today (1st July) is the old service plan is definitely not available anymore, I have spoken to both Cooper BMW and BMW UK! I am very annoyed that it still says it's available on their site!

However, the new pack apparently also includes a brake fluid change and an MOT, so at £20pm over 36 months this comes to £720 which is about the cost of the first 2 services, so effectively you're getting a free brake fluid change and MOT, and paying £20pm instead of 3 large lump payments.

I would have preferred the £399 pack, but I suppose this isn't too bad if this information is correct.

I took a 3 service pack out last week when my 440i went in for its first service. £900 for 3 oil services including the big one next up in 2 years with spark plugs, the first mot & 2 map updates. May have been something else included but can't remember. Paid £300 deposit which was £10 more than the first service was going to cost then 24 monthly payments of £25. If I sell the car I can give it to the next owner or transfer it to another BMW, if I leave the brand I can get a part refund. Not an amazing deal but if you want main dealer servicing an the option to pay for it monthly then it's probably worth doing.

Is that for a car over 3 years old?

Just seen the X3 price guide says £25pm for 36 months for 2 services and MOT, doesn't mention the brake fluid change!

The old 5 year/50,000 mile pack included free brake fluid change too.

No, my car is exactly 2 years old. Price is obviously more expensive on the bigger engine cars & basically what teaston states above, I’m just gaining a free oil service & the chance to pay for it monthly instead of in 3 large bills.
Also it protects you from price rises in the future should they happen, you can also cancel at any time.

I see, that doesn't sound bad at all, I thought i'd only be getting 2 services for £920

Yes if I worked out the prices online for the first 3 services they were £ 343 x2 plus the big service at £693 totalling £1379. They did offer a bit of discount on the first service if I didn’t take out the plan but even if they offered that on all 3 services I think I’d still be £300 better off with a free mot next year & 2 map updates.

Wow £700 for the major service!! I thought the £500 they quoted for my 335d was bad!

Hopefully the same deal is offered to me.
