M5 F90 vs w213 AMG

Went to the strip tonight with my buddy. He brought his 2018 e63s. Ran several times...both cars very consistent. Details:

Weather: hot, 93 degrees, da 2500+

F90: non comp, bmc filters, charcoal delete, Remus catback, race chip, ps4s

W213: catless dps, akra full titanium exhaust, green filters, eurocharged tune, pzero tires...car dynoed last week at 665 whp and 715 wtq.

My car (f90) ran 10.8s; his car ran 10.9s....several times.
My car trapped 128.x; his car trapped 127.x....several times.

Head to Head definitely a driver's race!!

Great runs! Solid especially for the DA/conditions. You can see from your 1/8th MPH you were making most of your gains on the back half - where the tune is really putting down the power. This is my M5 Comp slip that I just ran last week - much better DA (under 1000 ft), about 72F and with a healthy tailwind. My 1/8th MPH is quite a bit faster than yours - but I end up around the same 1/4 MPH - showing the lack of big end tune. With solid DA and conditions I am sure you are in the 10.6x range at 132ish MPH.

Thanks! For sure man. Very impressed with these numbers for piggy only...really pretty wild. We've been running cars at this track for a few years now, and for an almost stock car to be at this level really is a testament to how strong these m5s are right out of the box.

There were two zl1s out there, and a supercharged Vette...none breaking into 10s last night, even with good launches. All fast cars, but again, these German sedans are pretty nuts with the awd systems and turbo power.

Killer passes. RC is the real deal. My DA app shows you were at 2,700 ft DA. Nasty.

Thx bud. Have to agree with you...rc is def the real deal. I've never used a piggyback before. Totally sold on this thing making real power. I showed my boy how long it took to install it, and he just laughed. Nice product for sure

Really? It runs 11.4 @ 118 MPH stock with good weather, My buddy's completely bone stock one does 0-60 in 3.1/3.2 consistently. I'd say that's impressive for a fat turd. Besides the drag strip though it's useless and the interior is no where near say an X5M/GLE. Like not even in the same decade, not kidding. Supercharger whine is though.

EDIT: it also looks like a fucking base grand Cherokee.

The trackhawk gets off the line nicely for a massive vehicle, but falls short soon after. Fun to watch that big thing run though...sounds mean.

My set up is pretty much as the OP's without the filters and delete (I have the Remus too). I gotta say the F90 is flying with really just a piggy while the Benz is basically stage 2 plus with a true ecu flash and dp's.

VT hit it on the head, with the right DA you are gonna burn a 132.XXX.

Congrats and I really enjoyed watching my current car beat, albeit close, my former (sold my 2018 E63S in Aug of 18).

@OP: nice! Them there's some bragging rights.

@VT: what was next to you that ran a 10.4 with that trap speed?

More data for the group...was running dragy for three of the runs. You can see the 1/8 mile trap speeds here, as they were not showing up properly on the time slips in the lane i was in.
