World record broken? F90 1/8th and 1/4 ET and MPH...

Hi everyone,

To my knowledge - I think this is a record for a bone stock F90 M5 Competition. I have e run a 129.5 MPH trap previously - but my 1/8th MPH is a good 2+
MPH from anything I have ever had.

I am happy with the run either way...

Cheers!

Nice driving and great work. How many runs have you made and what do you think yields the best results that the rest of us could learn from?

WOW--that's an amazing run for a stock M... f#ck it, stock anything! WELL DONE that man.

So, as with everybody else, pony up the details:
  • gas
  • temp
  • DA
  • launch conditions (properly prep'd, etc.)
  • setup of the car during launch (launch control, etc.)

Wait, are Canadian seconds like Canadian dollars, i.e. they're worth far less? // just accept it, I'm funny

Thanks! DA was super solid - about 800 ft, and prep was fairly solid (rental). It was a near perfect day - about 22 C or about 72 F.

Settings were DSC Off, S+, Trans S3 and Comfort for suspension...shifting was full auto with LC.

Great day!

Thank-you! I made about 8 runs - five in the 10's - 10.96 and 10.93 with some 11.0's. We were forced out of the groove by the people renting the track - and then they let us stage properly.

I find comfort is a god suspension setting to make the car squat (I did this with my GTR as well - as most do now) - which makes better contact and traction. Other than that - hold on!

Lol - thanks LP!

Here you go!
[*]gas - pump 94 octane.[*]temp - about 22 C or 72F. It was down around 68 when I made the 10.87 pass.[*]DA - about 800 ft - which is extremely good for my area...[*]launch conditions (properly prep'd, etc.) - prep was solid - we weren't allowed to get in the groove by the track rental at first and then they let us...conditions were super solid all round.[*]setup of the car during launch (launch control, etc.)

Really!?! Is that a thing? I've never experienced that myself but I'm hardly the connoisseur. They were preserving the line for... what?

Thanks for sharing the details bud. And great job...I also enjoy playing around at the track and with dragy. Fun to experiment and squeeze a bit more with tweaks. Insane the days in which we live...massive sedans going 10.8 stock! Keep it up.

Yes - as it was a rental - they wanted the slick and DR cars to have their prep. Street tires can kill the track. Half way through - they relaxed for those of us that had some experience at the track...
