AC Schnitzer Spoiler

Got a good price on it from Turner Motorsports and had it painted at a local shop yesterday. Installed it last night with PU glue and then taped it down overnight. Not too messy because I had previous experience from my old E92 spoiler install. A little bit of that stuff goes a long way.

But your X3 is an SE/Xline, so you’re obviously not concerned with aesthetics.

No not an insult at all, just an observation that you chose the very modest and understated trim level, which would suggest that you are not interested in the way the car standing out or looking “sporty”.

Anyway, the ACS spoiler is more subtle than a lot of factory spoilers on mainstream cars like AMG A35/45, Focus RS, Civic Type R etc, so I don’t see the difference between the car coming with it from factory, or owners fitting them themselves.

Everyone knows that fitting a spoiler adds at least 50 BHP to your car, reduces the drag so you go at least 50mph faster, improves your 0-60 time by a second, sticks to corners like s**t on a blanket, massively improves your mpg and you are now much more attractive to the opposite sex. How can people not know this?

Also I think I may be in the less is more camp...!

50% off the list price here is good reason for that. If I wanted a sporty car, I would look into something else. This is off topic, I don't want to ruin this thread. Enjoy your spoilers guys. and I mean it

I hear what you're saying. To me it seemed like the back end was too stubby or something. Adding the spoiler makes it look right to me, prob because my previous car had one so I'm just used to it.
