Taken car in to garage for a few things looking at.
Clicking nose when turning steering wheel with and without indicator on. It needs a new steering column.
Whistling noise from drivers window when travelling at over 50mph. Needs more investigation.
Map update. Completed.
Driver door mirror doesn't fold in as far as passenger side. No info yet.
Remote control not always working. No info yet

A bit shocked over it needing a new steering column. But other wise everything else on a health check is ok.

Hope you get the main issues sorted quickly. I can feel your frustration / annoyance. When I bought my F25 X3 it needed a new steering link at the base of the column when only a few months old as it squeaked all the time when turning left and right.

I get the drivers side 'whistle' at about 50mph+ too, so I'll be very interested if you are able to get any answers to that one.

Re the wing mirror position on folding, mine do that and I was told by my dealer it is normal for the car i.e. set up by the factory to do that. he didn't know why!

Update on the whistle. They are saying it is from the door mirror and that it is not seating correctly. So they are replacing it. It does seem funny that the door mirror does not fold in the same as the passenger one which as no whistle from. I collect on Saturday so will see if the whistle and folding are sorted.

i just recently got this whistle / whining coming from the steering column or outside the car. Going to take it in tomorrow.

Update
Picked car up today instead of tomorrow.
Don't need new steering column 😀they greased everything and seem ok now. But if it returns they will replace it. Fingers crossed it doesn't return.
Whistling solved replacement door mirror.
Hopefully that is first and last time I have to take it back.

Glad it has turned out to be an easy fix. Interesting solution to the whistling noise - I've checked my mirror and can't really see anything not fitting right or amiss. Was it obvious on your car where the sound was being generated?

Is the mirror folding differently now?

The mirror folds just the same as before not as far in as the passenger one, but when I look at the mirror it looks In a different position than it was before.
The whistling sound seemed to be right next to my ear, I thought it was the window that was at fault.

So the clicking noise is back. does look like a new steering column 2 days in the work shop. Also had problems with the remote control not working again. I have changed to the spare key to see if it happens with that one.
