Powder Coat stock Y Spoke wheels

I'm thinking of powder coating my wheels flat black. These are the Y spoke stockers on M2Cs. Has anyone done this or have any pictures of them?
If i do, i'll post some pics for everyone, i think they would look great.

You could try plasti dip to see if you like wheels that look like they are plasti dipped.

That looks so good. I think i made up my mind then, unless it is cost prohibitive, i'm doing it.

Are they also going to gold plate the center caps? Call around, a full set in a standard finish like black should run around $500, give or take. Certainly no where near the rape quote you were given.

$1050 plus tax lmao.... Tell them to go F... themselves. I got mine done at the dealer where I bought the car.
I did not pay anything but that's how much they charge. $125 to $150 per wheel.

Noooo. They sent them out. They have someone who repairs all the wheels for them. Yes I agree. I currently have the 763M on the car. I did the powder coating because when I ordered the car, the dealer made a mistake and got the car with silver wheels.

When I got my 981 in 2015, the dealer wanted $900 if I wanted mine done - I politely declined.

To the OP, I think the blacked out 788s look great, and especially with AW or HS...and some carbon bits....

I called around and found a much more reasonable price.
Found a place that will chemically strip the wheels, then powder coat them glossy black, remount & balance them for around $800. I think that's not bad.

I am in Canada, so all Canadian dollars but I paid 615 bucks to have my 513m wheels powder coated gloss black, tires mounted and balanced!

I believe it, the stealership sends them out and has them done for $400 and then they pocket the other $500.
