New M40i ordered ... collect in a week :)

I have been looking ... and wanted a black with pano roof ...but ...

Went and looked at a blue one sitting in a showroom ... oops ... deposit paid !

9 miles on the clock - spec as follows :

G01 X3 M40i B58 3.0i

Phytonic Blue Metallic
BMW Individual Fiona Red/Black Merino
Steering wheel heating
Towbar. electrically folding
Acoustic glazing
Piano Black - BMW Ind.
Panoramic glass sunroof
Exterior Mirrors - folding with anti-dazzle
Parking Assistant Plus (so 360 degree stuff and also rear camera as well)
Concierge Service (useless to me as I won't use it - but it had it)
Head-up Display (loved it !)
M Sport Plus package (so 21 inch wheels, Harmon Kardon sound, privacy glass)
Adaptive suspension

I was worried re the 21" wheels so they let me drive it and tbh though a bit firmer it felt well planted and looked great.
Red leather with blue - I was dubious but not after seeing how much better is seemed than the std leather !

Too late now ! Next Thursday seems a long time !

My Insurance are refunding £50 against my M240i convertible which is good (and rare) news !

The car feels so planted compared to my convertible I can't wait !!!

congrats! I test drove the m40i with 21" run flats and adaptive m suspension and found the ride really good. Definitely reduced the impact of small potholes and overall found the ride better than an XC60 with air suspension and 22" alloys.

I got my Carbon Black only a couple weeks ago.
M Sport +, Pano roof, folding mirrors.

I too was a little worried (more the wife) how firm the runflat 21”s would be, but she is fine, and they look AMAZING! 👍

The G01 rides well on 21 inch run flat. I drove one and was surprised by how softer it felt than my F25. Huge improvement by BMW in the comfort area.

No, I would have but this one was there and the dealer - Dick Lovett - had been really helpful + provided a price like Tony's tbh.

If buying new, new ... as in order, I think it would have been Tony as he has been helpful and provided a decent price when I have contacted him before. I am just very impatient ! It was there and within £500 of Tony but I would be waiting 3-4 months.

I was able to drive it with 9 miles on it and was happy. Loved the head up display !!
