Tracking my 2019 BMW X5

I discovered that my new 2019 X5 has arrived at the Oxnard VPC. Its been at this port for two weeks. I contacted a BMW rep today and was told that today, a work "order" was made on the vehicle and that delivery is expected on 06/11/19. What does a work order mean? Does my car need additional parts assembly or is it possible that it was damaged en route and has to be repaired? Or does a work order mean it's being assigned to a carrier for transport to the dealership?

Thanks, jval

I'm sure someone will know for sure but it could mean there was some damage during shipping and they are going to handle it before it gets shipped to the dealer.
