Climate control settings on remote start

So the other day I was wanting to remote start my car with the temperature set to 75 degrees as it was cold outside and my wife wanted to have the car warmed up.

When I had parked the car the temperature was set to 65 inside for the front. Is it possible to start climate control with remote start and adjust the temperature from what it was set at when the car was last turned off or am I stuck with that same temperature and cannot change it on a remote start?

I believe at the moment you are stuck with the previous climate setting, but that BMW is rolling out a update that will enable you to set the climate temperature and if the heated seats/steering wheel come one.

Reviving this thread to see if I can actually adjust/change the temperature, when using climate control on remote start, than what was last used? For example, today during the day it was hot so I turned the AC on and then parked the car. After that went out in the evening and didn't use the HVAC system and remote started the car using the climate control feature but wanted to have it set to 76 degrees and no AC. Went to the car and it had turned on and was pre conditioning but at 64 degree with AC on, like it was used last earlier in the day.

Any idea?

There has been no changes, it still works as you describe.

there is no way to set the desired temp using the app or the key fob. the vehicle will precondition using the last HVAC settings prior to turning off the vehicle.
