Was wondering what you guys thought about race chip. Is this a bolt on tune like jb4? Saw them at bimmerfest but didn't see burger tuning, which is odd. Also didn't see bootmod or mission performance.

I my be wrong but in my mind Race Chip has traditionally been a piggyback option. That said I can't speak for Burger or PTF but Alex from MP was there, he was however participating and not selling or promoting.

Get a flash tune. Piggy back tune is only a lying box. I have bm3 and loving it.

It's like the JB+ or BMS Stage1. Without CANbus, fuel, or wastegate control isn't really comparable to say a JB4. For $200 it's not a bad option but there are much better piggybacks out there for a little more.

BMS had a couple guys there. Fuel-IT wasn't able to make it this year. Hopefully next.

Looks like they had 3 different models ranging in price from $200 to $500. There might have been a blutooth module on the more expensive models while the basic model does not have bluetooth.

It's just a simple Stage1 tune, MAP sensor control only. Not a bad option but there are other better options for not much more money as I said.

Race chip is a very reliable piggyback that delivers on its promises. In terms of value the Jb4 is the better value buy.

Its a complete tune with more features, control for cheaper

berger was there, albeit not much for a presentation . Their "booth" didn't have much and wasn't very appealing looking.
