The M340i current speed/gear font is different from the 330i
Something I've noticed on the instrument cluster display of the M340i that differentiates it from the 330i...
the lettering/font type in the mph and transmission mode display mimics the "M" font type versus the standard BMW font type for non-M/M-Performance cars. Just a neat touch for those who opted for the M Performance echelon vehicle. |

Obviously the M340 has some differences (e.g. "M340" on the dash), but curious if the dash's look different based on some of the criteria I noted above. |

The M340i photo is in sport mode and the 330i photo is in comfort mode, both of which have different graphics.
You'd need to find a photo of a 330i in sport mode to compare exact differences. |

Had a chance to drive 320D (still awaiting my 330i to come early July) and have to say IMO instrument cluster in sport mode looks like the one in M340i posted in OP. The only difference is that I have driven european version of the car, which for sure impacts the gauges like speedometer (km/h vs mph) or road-signs (ones I had looked like in the bottom pic).
