X5 M50i & X6 M50i Better Proposition ?
Self explanatory guys , Bigger more luxurious , more options, new Idrive 7, digital cockpit , air suspension. 3 choices of wheel sizes ( up to 315 wide in the back ) will certainly ride better , Bowers and wilkins on offer and well BMW claims it is faster than the x4m comp to 60.
will you consider it instead of the full M SAV's ?? https://www.motor1.com/news/350815/b...m50i-unveiled/ |

If you want to feel old when sitting inside it.
Yes, I would. But I am still young in heart and mind. I have yet to see F95 X5M interior, but I don't think it will be far off from G05 X5 with Red Start/Stop Button and Red M1/M2 button on the steering wheel.

Now that the ordering guides are out, I'm considering an X5 M50i. Our 2018 X5M is overkill for the wifey, which I knew would be, but I'm the car nut!! Lol
Still would like to drive/see IRL an X3MC, but I unloaded our X3 M40i bc of the same reasons/design I'm not too impressed with the X3MC (no full leather, skinny rear tires, weak stance, no real presence on the road). Plus, I don't anticipate any substantial deals on the X3MC anytime soon, compared to your run of the mill X5 M50i, relatively speaking.

The only Logical explanation for the skinny rear tires is to cancel the tire skipping that some describe in the GLC 63 and Macan turbo on very tight turns due the the short wheelbase on an AWD ! but still as you said the stance looks awkward and Ugly . i'm afraid this will be a flop. it looks already outdated as well before hitting thew showrooms , the GLC63 has already MBUX and air suspension and several wheel choices etc...... historically this is the very first time in history that a full fledged M vehicle will have skinnier tires than it's lesser siblings |

If you want power/torque and big luxury then yah the X5/6 line is probably a better fit. Seems no one anywhere has driven an X3/4M but I would assume it to handle significantly better. It's still a 4400 lb or whatever tall SUV though so we shouldn't fool ourselves into thinking it's an M3.

I was literally having the same thoughts to myself as im in a x4m40i and was considering the X3MC but the X5 is such a nice truck it is really a hard decision considering the money is comparable anddd there will likely be way more incentive to purchasing the X5 vs the X3MC / X4
So much more tech and options available but yes it is a larger truck with that being said my M Town drive is upcoming this Friday and then we can revisit this conversation lol...
