1st & 2nd gear dragging
When letting of the gas and let the car coast until it reaches the speed to downshift to 2nd, the car suddenly slows down and it feel like it's dragging.
To check if the dragging coming from the brakes, I put it on N while slowing down and it was smooth and the dragging effect didn't happen. I know it's not just the normal "engine braking" cause I've already drove another 340i Any idea to look for? |

This "dragging" feeling is different from the automatic downshift from 3rd to 2nd or 2nd to 1st when you reach the minimum speed threshold for a given gear?

And also that same feeling is also felt when upshifting from 1st to 2nd & 2nd to 3rd The "engine braking" in (1st & 2nd) is too much to handle Automatic transmission |

Do the transmission adaptation reset. If you drive like a dork (BM3 amplifies this, I know!) then the shift pressures increase and so does the engine braking. Mine starts to gain a really harsh 5->4 shift if I'm aggressive on the throttle.
