325i Sport package small mud guard/flaps?!?

Do the Sport Package 325i's only have the small mud/rock flaps located just in front of the rear wheels? Or did the dealer forget to remove something on delivery?? LOL....
(sorry no pics, think i saw this on one web shot last week)

it might have something to do with helping drag underneath the body. ??? purely a guess though.

Thanks for the response...!

Ok, seems like they might play a role in AIR MOVEMENT to the rear wheels in a spoiler/dam effect. Sport Pkg. being 17mm lower than Premimun pkg. They might even stop debris from being thrown up along the sides???!! It just dosen't look that good.

It is aerodynamic, but I thought all e90s have them.

I have them on my sport package. I think they are to keep dirt and water off the back rotors.

the rotors are protected by the wheels, the flaps are aerodynamic only

if they were "mud flaps" they'd be behind the wheels not in front of them

Ok, lets see your aeronautical engineering degree

learn a bit in that field and then maybe you'll understand why those flaps are there.........

I took a better look at those air-dams last night. There is another longer set in farther and up about 10". They are flexible plastic.
