Noise when accelerating
Hi, I have a 2011 BMW 335i (N55 engine) and I have been hearing some weird noise during accelerations sometimes. I don't know how to describe the noise but it only happens during accelerations between the range 0-20 mph. Once the speed goes over 20 mph, the noise immediately stops. Can someone please tell me what is wrong with the car? Thank you!

You’ll need to be more specific. If you’re unable to describe it, try taking a video that captures the noise you’re referring to. Without some additional information go off of, it’ll be very difficult for anyone here to know what it is.

I have a noise while accelerating too. Bwaaaa, bap, bap, bwaaaah. Goes away when I close my mouth and stop making those noises. Sorry, I got nothing... I'm bored... Carry on (slowly backs out of thread)

Agreed with above post... "noise" is far too broad for anyone to give you an answer.
Rumble Vibration Howl Whine Behind you? In front of you? Underneath you? Does it get louder if you hit the gas harder? Does it do it in all gears? Does it do it when engine is cold, warm, or both? Describe it further so we can assist. |

God this thread reads like one big sarcastic troll post to make fun of these types of troubleshooting requests....
OP can't even spend the time to describe it correctly or take a video, but expects random internet strangers to magically know whats wrong. |

My car makes a noise when accelerating from 0-20mph too. It also makes noise when accelerating past 20mph, because it's not an electric vehicle.

Seriously though op, try to record a video if you can’t describe the sound, if you took the time to do that I’m sure someone here would help you
What everyone is saying, myself included is that there are so many noises that that description is not helpful. Your car makes sounds, even an electric car makes electric noises. Take a video of the sound and post it
